Just 20 minutes by taxi from the airport (Click on the 'Contact' tab to the left for details of how to get here from the airport), Brickfield Hill is a small, friendly guesthouse in Sydney's historic Surry Hills, a superbly located restaurant, cafe and bar district right next to the city centre.
Crown Street, Oxford Street, Chinatown and Darling Harbour are minutes away on foot, and Sydney Harbour and the city's famous Opera House can be reached by means of a leisurely stroll past historic buildings and through some of Sydney's most beautiful parks and botanic gardens.
Only a little further afield and accessible by a short ride on public transport are Sydney's justly renowned harbour and ocean beaches.
Surry Hills is superbly located to take advantage of Sydney's public transport system of buses, trains, trams and ferries. Reasonably priced taxi services are also readily available from Brickfield Hill and our guests rarely feel the need to hire a car.
*We use Mac and PC friendly AirPort Express to deliver WiFi with any computer that uses Wi-Fi standards, whether it’s a Mac or a Dell, HP, IBM, or any other Windows-based PC.
NB AirPort Express is compatible with computers using the 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g specifications, and it also works with computers that are 802.11n draft 2.0 compliant.
